Legends of the Superheroes was a two-part disaster from the late 1970s. The AV Club did an article on it in 2011 (found here: http://bit.ly/2uyfamy).
ReplyDeleteThe first part brought in a surprising number of DC superheroes and villains in what amounted to a series of sketch comedy bits. The second part was a roast hosted by Ed McMahon, where various guest stars joked about the heroes. This segment is infamous for creating the character "Ghetto Man" who told "black" jokes ...
